(Posted 20 June 2008) Business Development, Sales & Marketing Executive JOB DESCRIPTIONSelling globally, not just in the UK Able to deal with multiple products into multiple markets via multiple channels. Some PR, e.g. creating and issuing press releases Some knowledge of web marketing techniques Good telephone voice. Mainly office based – customer contact via telephone and email – possibly some customer visits later Self motivation important. Ability to conduct market research and rapidly identify and target key players. Good team player – flexible attitude to work. Able to adapt and fit in with culture of young entrepreneurial start-up company. Able to advise and recommend optimum pricing strategies Able to deliver effective promotions with extremely limited budgets. Able to offer creative input to promotional materials; brochures, design of Point Of Sale displays/stands, etc. Give input to product development and new product introductions. Targets will be profit contribution not just sales turnover – able to understand the difference and deliver! Must be PC literate – email, Word, Exel, Powerpoint, etc. Some knowledge of databases might be helpful. Ability to update and offer creative input to our various websites might be useful. Able to identify competitor activity and recommend proactive and reactive strategies. We will offer a salary of between £16k - £24k depending on your aptitude and experience.
